From day one our company is feeling the constantly growing demand for 3D printing. We keep constantly receiving inquiries from an incredibly wide range of business sectors. And the better the awareness about 3D printing capabilities, the higher the demand.

Мы предлагаем Вам высокоточную печать из различных материалов и методов печати в самые короткие сроки!

Laser stereolithography (SLA), - the technology for building objects by resin photopolymerization, has the following advantages:

  1. High level of detail and perfectly smooth surfaces of items obtained.
  2. Supports complex geometry items (precision up to 0.025 mm per 25.4 mm).
  3. Outstanding physical and mechanical properties of models and prototypes fabricated
  4. A wide selection of materials with various properties.
  5. Easy top post-process – easy to glue, polish, paint, etc.

Production time from 1 day with:

  • Black and white photopolymer with good physical and mechanical properties;
  • Transparent photopolymer;
  • Grey rubber-imitating photopolymer with Shore A hardness 80-85;
  • Shock-proof performance photopolymer imitating ABS plastic.

Fused filament fabrication (FDM technology) – complex objects are built using molten plastic supplied through 3D printer extruder nozzle.

Production time from 1 day with:

  • ABS and PLA filaments, various colors available;
  • Black rubber-imitating filament;
  • White nylon filament;
  • Carbon filament.

Available 3D printing technologies allow creating affordable custom items from plastic, plaster, special polymers and other powders that can glue together or melt during prototype fabrication process.

Presently, there are two distinct 3D printing technologies: laser and material jetting.

Laser 3D printing method uses laser beam to bind powder particles together. Material jetting is similar to conventional 2d inkjet printers. The major difference is that instead of ink the print head feeds molten plastic to build the required model layer by layer.

From performance capabilities standpoint the most advanced 3D printing technology so far was recently proposed simultaneously by several manufacturers of 3D printing machines. A binding agent is applied onto a thin layer of powder to bind it and thus build yet another layer of future model. Depending on the requirements imposed on the prototype various powders can be used including plaster, soft metals, cellulose, molding compound and some other ingredients. The strongest models are made using a photopolymer.

History of 3D printing

Development of this technology was driven by competition for customers. Many producers had to swiftly refresh their product range and fabricate small or super-small product batches. Rapid fabrication of one-offs became a dire necessity. As we can see from today’s perspective, this can easily be achieved using 3D printers. However they’ve come a long way, turning into those sophisticated machines as we know them.

The technology for building 3D objects based on their virtual models was first developed and introduced by Charles Hull in 1984. Two years later he patented his invention as Stereolithography. In fact, these were the world’s first 3D printing services.

In 1988 Scott Crump developed the fused deposition modeling (FDM) technology also known as fused filament fabrication. In 1989 he founded Stratasys company, which is currently one of the key 3D modeling equipment developers and manufacturers worldwide.

In parallel with that laser 3D printing was also developing, and in 1992 DTM company started selling their machine based on selective laser sintering (SLS) technology.

Initially the main factor limiting the use of 3D printing was its high cost. Only the largest corporations could afford ordering 3D printing. However, 3D printing cost is gradually decreasing with time and these services are becoming affordable not only in Moscow and other big cities, but in the provinces as well.

Contract 3D printing: laboratory and service as production benefits

3D printing on a by-order basis involving 3D printing lab and highquality service denotes professional approach and high production speed even for custom one-offs, which is a key to success in modern business. Our approach to 3D printing services is beyond competition both in Moscow and anywhere else. Ultra-fast production and digital precision are the hallmark of our method.

3D printing fields of application

  • Architecture design
  • Landscape design
  • Production of custom one-off items
  • Fabrication of test dummies
  • Prototyping services and 3D printing of parts
  • Development of affordable pieces of art
  • Fabrication of learning aid products
  • Medical implant and prosthetics modeling
  • Production of custom souvenirs and promotional merchandise, e.g. 3D printed figurines
  • Fabrication of models for presentations

Printing 3D models in Moscow and other cities can take different amount of time and will depend on model complexity

Requirements for 3D models

3D printer can build items of any complexity, just a draft of the required item will be enough to build it. 3D printing in Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, or any other city in the world has the same set of general requirements: 3D printer will require an STL file with digital image of the model. Special care should be paid to eliminate any mesh holes, damaged faces, inverted normals and other small defects of digital 3D model, which would be apparent on the fabricated prototype. Any STL file viewer or recovery software can be used to assess 3D image integrity.

Netfabb freeware would be a good option for model integrity control. Image analysis and repair can be performed by selecting Analyse, Repair, and Measuring functions in the main menu. Repair should be best performed in auto mode.
